Project #0191, Get Horses Licensed (While Adopting Trees)

Sounds confusing, we know. But here's the deal: many people who own horses have not gotten around to license them. This can be troublesome for the equestrian community, because they cannot get an accurate count (or account) of local horses. So, the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council Equestrian Committee (who knew?) is having a special Big Sunday event to license horses. And, each time a person licenses a horse, he or she will get a small tree, as thanks. The CHCEC needs volunteers to help at the Licensing/Adoption event. If you love horses, or trees, or Chatsworth, we need your help! Licensees must be residents of Los Angeles to receive a tree. This event is a great part of the Mayor's Day of Service. Chatsworth
